They have been stored in climate controlled conditions, but ink pads naturally dry over time and each has been purchased at different time periods and may be drier or getting close to needing refills. I don't have refillers available, so those would need to be purchased from another seller. Simply drop a few ink drops and let soak in for a few seconds to rejuvenate these very high quality ink pads!
