    Smith Corona Classic 12 Typewriter Ribbon - with new Black Ink
    This Typewriter Ribbon is a Black Nylon Ribbon. The ribbon is 1/2 inch wide and we provide 12 yards of ribbon on this spool.  This has a standard 2 inch spool and will fit in
    ALMOST ANY
    machine using a 2 inch spool.  Please see that this spool has a fixed center hole that measures 4MM.  This is standard size as the most machines have a 4MM spindle.
    Our ribbons have the eyelets placed at the beginning and end of the ribbon. Some folks call this a
    grommet
    . This eyelete is needed to for the proper use of the
    typewriter
    auto reversing
    mechanism.
