This is a set of 20 duotone etchings of great composers, with biographical sketches by W.B. Lindsay on the reverse of each card. They are on heavy cardstock and would be suitable for framing if desired. The cards are 7.75" x 8.75". Published by Hall & McCreary Company, Chicago, in 1936.The composers featured are: Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Franz, Gluck, Gounod, Grieg, Handel, Haydn, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Offenbach, Schubert, Schumann, Tschaikowski (that's how it was spelled!), Verdi, Wagner, and Weber.I have posted photos of many of them, but feel free to contact me if you'd like additional photos.
