KETCHAM & MCDOUGALL STERLING SILVER THIMBLE

Description

Up for sale is a very ornate sterling silver Ketcham & McDougall thimble.  The band is a series of seven concave circles on a background of scrolls which surround the circles.  The thimble is engraved with initials:  one circle contains a “D” along with a smaller monogram that looks a small “e” or an “&” - the adjacent circle has the letter “H” engraved within it.  The size “8” is noted in another of the circles.  It stands approximately 7/8 inches tall, and the base is approximately 5/8 inches.

Ketcham & McDougall and Sterling.
Condition:
Very good to excellent with normal wear for its age.
