The English Hallmarks are impressed into the bottom rim (See photos). This sterling thimble is well designed and the overall condition is outstanding. There is very little wear on this sterling thimble and it is in the condition that thimble enthusiasts hope to find them. This collectible thimble, like all of the others that we have listed recently, was purchased from one private collection in Moore County, North Carolina. Glare occasionally appears in our photos, but it does not appear on the actual thimble.     Antique 7/8" high x 5/8" wide Sterling Thimble with English Hallmarks, Dimple Pattern, Raised Bottom Rim and 3 Narrow Lines in Relief.
