Antique STERLING Silver THIMBLE - Case - SCOTLAND Kintail & Lochalsh

Description

This antique thimble is sterling silver and is in a celluloid presentation case with an enamel badge on top that is marked KINTAIL & LOCHALSH, located in the Scottish Highlands.
This thimble is marked with an 11 for the size.  There are initials which appear to be J M C and a date of 12-25-16. Look closely at the photos.
The hinged celluloid case closely nicely with a secure snap and there is only some edge wear at the bottom corner (see the last photo.)   The case measures 1 and 5/8 inches square and is 1 and 1/4 inches high.
