Both of these cruet bottles have sterling silver covered stoppers = style! Use them for whatever you like! Syrups, bartender /  bar use, etc.
    1. The flat sided bottle has its original sticker underneath: “Hand cut, Imported, American Cut Crystal Corp” This company dates back to at least the 1940s selling imported crystal from all over with examples from Sweden, Germany, Japan, Czechoslovakia, etc. The trademark was revived in the ‘70s and then went out of business again. Best guess is this a mid-century piece. Sterling is stamped on the side of the stopper. It’s got beveled edges with the oil and vinegar lines etched on the front.
Overall height is 7” and this decanter is ~8oz. Top has not been monogrammed.
    2. The rounded bottle is made by T.G. Hawkes and Co, the bottom is etched with “patented July 2, 1916, No. 1188172” and a tiny Hawkes trademark, a trefoil ring fleur-de-lis and two hawks. Sterling is stamped on the side of the stopper.
Thomas Hawkes founded T.G. Hawkes and Co. a renowned crystal company that was in business during the American Brilliant Period and stayed open for 82 years in Corning, New York. The firm cut glass blanks made at other glassworks until 1962. In 2016 a gent continuing the tradition of etched crystal in the US Aidan Scully owns the Hawkes and Co.’s trademark and produces its works with the Hawkes logo.
It’s got etchings of vines all around with the oil and vinegar lines etched on the front.
Overall height is 7” and this decanter is ~9oz. Top is monogrammed with a B.
