This auction is for a lightly circulated Seated Liberty Silver Dollar minted in 1859 in New Orleans. Just before the start of the United States Civil War.
This 1859-O Seated Dollar is graded and encapsulated by ANACS as AU53 About Uncirculated 53 Very close to AU 55.
It is also in one of the early small, thin ANACS OGH Old Green Labelled Holders,
Coin looks very nice for the grade with very nice eye appeal.
It looks like it may have had PL Prooflike fields when it was first minted as you can still see some reflectivity under the lightly circulated fields.
Very nice Seated Dollar for the type coin collector.
Actual coin in hand is nicer looking than the pictures.
